Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, your project must meet ALL of the following criteria:

✓  Project was completed or substantially delivered between January 2025 and February 2026.
✓  Project was executed primarily within the South Florida geographical area (Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach counties).
✓  The submitting project manager holds a current PMP certification or is a PMI South Florida Chapter member.
✓  The project involved a defined scope, schedule, and budget.

How the Competition Works

Step 1 – Submit Your Project

Applicants submit a project summary and supporting documentation.

Step 2 – Review and Evaluation

Projects are reviewed by an independent judging panel of experienced project management professionals.

Step 3 – Finalists Selected

The highest-scoring submissions are selected as finalists.

Step 4 – Final Presentations

Finalists present their projects at the PMI South Florida Project Management Conference.

Step 5 – Winner Announced

The Project of the Year Award is presented to the project that best demonstrates excellence, impact, and leadership.
