PMI South Florida CAPM® Launch Pad Study Group

Interested in project management but not yet ready for the PMP®?

The PMI South Florida CAPM® Launch Pad Study Group is designed to help students, early-career professionals, career changers, and aspiring project managers build a strong foundation in project management while preparing for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification.

Launch Pad brings together aspiring project professionals, experienced mentors, and a supportive cohort of peers working toward the same goal: building their project management knowledge, preparing for the CAPM® exam, and taking the next step in their professional journey.

Why Start with the CAPM®?

Beginning a career in project management can feel overwhelming. You may not know what to study, how to prepare for the CAPM® exam, or where to find people who can help you along the way.

Launch Pad provides participants with a structured path and supportive community to help them:

  • Build a strong foundation in project management principles
  • Become familiar with PMI terminology and practices
  • Prepare for the CAPM® certification exam
  • Learn alongside other aspiring project professionals
  • Receive guidance from experienced project professionals and CAPM®/PMP®-certified mentors
  • Stay accountable throughout the preparation process
  • Build confidence before taking the next step in their project management career
  • Connect with PMI South Florida and the broader professional community

You don’t have to figure it out alone.
